STEP TWO: THE SETUP: Rubbing in a circular motion on your sore spot continuously whilst reciting the following 3 times..
Even though I................................. ., I deeply and completely accept myself.
Fill in the dotted line with the issue you would like to address.
Eg: Even though I have a fear of heights or Even though I crave chocolate or Even though when I was six my father hit me or Even though I have a headache or Even though my friend committed suicide, or Even though my mother told me to eat everything on my plate or Even though I have a fear of lifts etc) BE SPECIFIC.
STEP THREE: THE SEQUENCE: Tap about 7 times on each of the following energy points while repeating the Reminder Phrase at each point. (The reminder phrase is a shortened version of step 2 eg: fear of lifts, craving chocolate, headache or father hit me)
1. INNER SIDE OF EYEBROW
2. OUTSIDE OF EYE
3. UNDER EYE
4. UNDER NOSE
5. UNDER LOWER LIP
6. UNDER COLLAR BONE
7. UNDER ARM
8. BELOW BREAST
9. THUMB
10. INDEX FINGER
11.MIDDLE FINGER
12. LITTLE FINGER
13. KARATE CHOP
STEP FOUR:
THE 9 GAMUT PROCEDURE
Continuously tap on the Gamut point while performing each of these 9 actions:
Eyes closed
Eyes open
Eyes hard down to the right
Eyes hard down to the left
Roll eyes in a half circle to the right
Roll eyes in a half circle to the left
Hum 2 seconds of Happy Birthday
Count quickly to five 1 2 3 4 5
Hum 2 seconds of Happy Birthday
STEP FIVE: THE SEQUENCE AGAIN : up to the Karate Chop and then stop.
Check what your intensity is now.
If it is not zero then repeat from beginning at setup, but in the affirmation add "still" or remaining.
E.g: Even though I still have a craving for chocolate or Even though I still am addicted to smoking or Even though I still have this remaining headache or
Even though I still had my friend commit suicide. And continue until the intensity is zero.
If you are stuck on a number then you may need to investigate other areas and aspects of your issue.
